Gavin was a very kind and thoughtful man. A fantastic lawyer who fought hard and passionately for many people who weren't able to do so themselves. I was very fortunate to have worked with him and learned so much from him. A true legend of the legal profession. My thoughts are with all his family at a very difficult time.

Thoughts
I was one of Andy's friends who was lucky enough not to need Gavin's services when growing up!
Gavin was very kind enough to take me in for work experience with Andy and I learnt a lot in those 2 weeks.
I'll always remember him for his wit and for his turning-a-blind eye to having a glass of red in his dining room, when I was a couple of years shy of being able to do so!
It has been some time since I last spoke with Gavin, but when I heard the news of Gavin's passing it came with no less of a shock and sadness.
He was a great man and I will always remember him well. Sleep well Gavin.
